Canada relaxes permanent residences for overseas students
Canada Immigration Minister has taken positive steps to relax the points based criteria for permanent residency in Canada with international students.
What this means is that, more points have been shifted to international graduates who have successfully completed post-secondary education in Canada and less points on actual job offers. In the nutshell: you do still stand a chance even if you haven’t gotten a job yet so far you are a successful graduate from a post secondary institution.
The idea is to retain highly skilled graduates to bring about quality immigration that will positively impact on the growing ageing population in Canada and boost her economy in the near future.
